Civilnow Pty Ltd completed the $15.6 million streetscape in Port Campbell which the largest infrastructure project in Corangamite Shire’s history.
The works include drainage, electrical, pavement, paving, concreting, artwork installation, asphalting, and landscaping along the foreshore at Cairns and Lord Streets. Additional works on Lord Street (south of Cairns Street) involve drainage, structural decking and retaining walls, electrical, pavement, paving, concreting, asphalting, and landscaping beneath the Norfolk Pines and towards the Fisherman’s Carpark. The project also includes decking, pavement, paving, concreting, artwork installation, asphalting, retaining walls, and landscaping along the foreshore trail and adjacent car park area.
Civilnow Pty Ltd completed the All Abilities Beach Access Ramp in Warrnambool which was a design and construct project.
The project involves the design and construction of a DDA-compliant beach access ramp and stairs. Works include the demolition and removal of the existing beach access, civil works foundations using a minimum 6m length of hot-dipped galvanised steel screw piles with sacrificial anodes or approved equivalents, and concrete headstocks reinforced with hot rolled bars or fibreglass. The scope also includes construction of concrete paths, installation of an FRP (fibre-reinforced polymer) structure comprising the landing, mesh, and staircase, and the provision of stainless steel handrails.
Civilnow Pty Ltd completed the $9.2 million Timbbon- Port Campbell trail construction.
The project comprises the construction of a 19.3-kilometre trail featuring a 2.5-metre-wide pathway. Works include a cantilevered lookout boardwalk, FRP boardwalk and bridge superstructure construction, and CFT retaining barrier installation. The scope also covers development of the Port Campbell lookout carpark, installation of Replas bollards, roadside fencing, coloured concrete paths, kerb and channel works, drainage construction, bulk earthworks (cut to fill), and retaining wall construction.
